Moscow, (thestates.news) |The death toll from the Novel Coronavirus 2019 has climbed up to 811 in China, the country’s National Health Commission confirmed on Sunday, adding that as many as 37,198 people were suffering from the ailment.
A total of 2,649 people had recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 33,738 were currently being treated for pneumonia caused by the new Coronavirus, while 6,188 were in grave condition, Sputnik quoted the China NHC as saying.
Hubei’s Health department confirmed that the death toll from the new coronavirus in the province currently stands at 780, while 1,400 people were said to have recovered in the province.
There seems to be no respite from the disease in Wuhan, where the outbreak started, as 1,370 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours. Hubei province has witnessed 2,147 new cases in the past 24 hours, it added.(uni)
