Delhi, (thestates.news) The deadly Novel Coronavirus ( COVID 19 ) did
not spare even the first line of defence of the country, the Border Security
Force, as two BSF jawans have succumbed to the deadly virus, the force said on
Thursday.
According to an official statement from one of the finest
para-military forces of the country, ‘The whole ‘Prahari Parivar’ is
grief-stricken with the deaths of two BSF personnel during this pandemic.
‘A critically-ill patient, who had contracted the infection,
while visiting super speciality clinics for his treatment, had died. Another
Borderman died on May 4 at Safdarjung Hospital, where he was admitted on May 3.
‘BSF stands with the families of these personnel, in this
