Culture Minister Mr. Bhagat did a site inspection for Film City at Birbira in Mahasamund
Raipur (thestates.news)| Culture Minister, Amarjeet Bhagat,visited the site for the construction of a film city in Birbira village, Mahasamund district, on Wednesday. Significantly, the Chhattisgarh state government has developed a new film policy 2021 to encourage the Chhattisgarh film industry. The film policy includes numerous concessions for filmmakers, directors, and artists. Sites for the creation of Film City in various districts of the state, including Naya Raipur, are being selected in order to provide a comprehensive format to the Chhattisgarhi film industry, such as South Indian, Marathi, Bengali, and other provinces. In this view, a team of officers led by Minister Shri Bhagat inspected the land in Birbira village of Mahasamund district.
Culture Minister,Mr. Bhagat, stated that the Chhattisgarh Film Policy has benefited hundreds of artists, technicians, producers-directors, and local people involved in the state’s film industry. During the inspection, the Culture Minister stated that a good location for a film city is important. Culture and tourism will gain a distinct national character as a result of Film City. The creation of Film City will enhance the number of tourists at neighboring tourist destinations. Along with this, the local youngsters will have access to an increasing number of job opportunities. Mr. Bhagat, stated that there are numerous locations in Chhattisgarh that are ideal for filming. Along with the film policy and the state government’s initiatives have now created such an atmosphere, which has raised the interest of filmmakers from other states in Chhattisgarh.
