Draupadi Murmu visits Visakhapatnam on June 10: AP CS

Vijayawada, (thestates.news) | President of India Draupadi Murmu will participate in the first convocation ceremony of the Central Tribal University in Visakhapatnam on June 10.
Andhra Pradesh Government’s Chief Secretary K Vijayanand reviewed the arrangements to be made for the President’s visit with the officials of various departments at the State Secretariat at Amaravati near here on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Secretary said that as per the present minute-to-minute program the President will reach Visakhapatnam at 11.30 am on June 10th in the Draupadi Murmu by aircraft, participate in the first convocation ceremony of the Central Tribal University till 3 pm, and leave for Jharkhand state tour by plane from Visakhapatnam at 3.20 pm.

Therefore he directed to make proper arrangements in terms of various departments regarding the President’s visit. He also said that appropriate arrangements should be made as per the protocol rules.
Chief Secretary Vijayanand instructed the Vice Chancellor of the Central Tribal University, Kattimani who participated virtually to immediately send the details of the programs related to the President’s visit, including minute-to-minute program, dias, backdrop, etc., and send them to the President’s Office for approval.

Similarly, he instructed the officials of the respective departments to take up the arrangements to be made on behalf of the state government.
Special Chief Secretary Medical and Health M T Krishna Babu, Principal Secretary GAD Mukesh Kumar Meena, Secretary IT K Bhaskar, Commissioner Medical and Health Veerapandian, Director of I&PR Himanshu Shukla, Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta, Visakhapatnam District Collector Harindra Prasad and Vice Chancellor of the Central Tribal University Kattimani were among those who attended the meeting.
