Pradesh Congress Committee, Kumari Selja said the FIR got registered by a BJP
worker against Congress President Sonia Gandhi reflects a new low in the
politics of vendetta by the BJP.
Kumari Selja said today when the entire nation was remembering the supreme
sacrifice of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi , this was another example of
the BJP’s skewed thinking. Sonia Gandhi, the idol of renunciation has served
the country after the Supreme sacrifice of her husband Rajiv Gandhi.
No one had imagined that in a bid to distract attention from its failures
on all fronts the BJP will stoop to such low levels and under a conspiracy get
registered an FIR against Ms Sonia Gandhi.
The Congress party strongly condemns this, she added.
Kumari Selja said the entire nation was fighting its battle against the Corona
epidemic with complete solidarity and the Congress Party, under the leadership
of Sonia Gandhi, was continuously working to extend all possible help to
the people. The BJP has been completely baffled by the exemplary relief work
being carried out by congress workers on the directions of Ms Gandhi .
Arrangements have also been made by Congress President through the state units
to provide transportation facility to millions of workers so that they could
reach their homes.
These steps being taken by her in the public interest have brought happiness on
the faces of millions of poor, workers and generated some hope in the hearts of
the needy people of the country. But even at this time of crisis, BJP was not
deterring from agenda setting, politics of hate and vendetta , Kumari Selja
said.
“The entire country would stand against this thinking of BJP and we will win
