Raipur (thestates.news) | Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while talking to journalists said that the BJP government has tortured the youth on the first day of the new year. 2897 teachers were dismissed, the government is not taking any decision regarding their reinstatement. The Say government is the only government in the entire state that has relieved 2897 regular employees from their posts. Till date, no state government in the country has dismissed its employees in such a large number at once. These are not contractual or contractual employees.
The government had given appointment to these teachers after completing the recruitment process. Now there is a deadlock after the court, so the government should resolve this matter and conduct a separate recruitment for D.Ed trained teachers and make arrangements to ensure the service of these 2897 teachers who have already been appointed.
It is not that these teachers were recruited only during the Congress government, even after the formation of the BJP government, the third and fourth counseling was done on 9 February 2024 and 7 March 2024 and they were appointed. The majority of teachers are from Bastar and Surguja divisions and are posted in remote areas. Out of 2897, 70 percent come from the Scheduled Tribe category. The government has many such posts in the education department itself where these 2897 teachers can be appointed on the same pay scale. They can be appointed as laboratory assistants, higher category teachers. The BJP government did not make any effort to adjust the B.Ed assistant teachers.
During the hearing, the Supreme Court sought a proposal for adjustment but this anti-youth government remained silent. In a deliberate conspiracy, the side of B.Ed. trained assistant teachers was not presented properly in the court, now by issuing notice of termination of service, they are pretending to form a committee, this is a bad joke with thousands of youth. The government has stopped the recruitment process of 33000 teachers. These teachers can be accommodated on these posts. The government should take immediate decision in their case and adjust them.
The government does not want to buy the entire paddy
Discussing the chaos spread in paddy procurement, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the BJP government does not want to buy the entire paddy of the farmers. There is a shortage of space at paddy procurement centers, lifting is not happening, the deadlock with the millers is not ending. Farmers are also not being paid, the promise of one-time payment of 3100 has gone in vain. There is a huge shortage of gunny bags in remote areas. The government is making excuses so that it does not have to buy the entire paddy. The government is afraid of going to the elections
