Raipur (thestates.news) | Appreciating the collaborated commitment for progress by duo Central and State governments, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the double engine government is firmly committed to safeguard the interests of Tribal communities and ensuring their holistic development.  The Chief Minister was addressing the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas  – Tribal Pride Day and Talent Felicitation Ceremony held at Ambagarh Chowki in the Mohla–Manpur–Ambagarh Chowki district.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister performed ‘bhoomipujan’ and inaugurated development works worth over Rs 475 crore. He announced that Ambagarh Chowki would be made a revenue subdivision and that a fully equipped auditorium would be constructed there. He also transferred the 22nd instalment of the Mahtari Vandan scheme directly into the bank accounts of beneficiary women. The programme was presided over by Legislative Assembly Speaker  Dr Raman Singh.
