Government offices to be sanitized, cleaned and white washed; unnecessary goods to be written off : Cs issues guidelines

Raipur, (the states.News ) For prevention of COVID-19 infection in state, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to conduct sanitization drive in all the government offices including ground-level, district-level and state-level offices in capital city Raipur, to ensure total cleanliness.

Chief Secretary RP Mandal has issued letter in the context to all the Collectors, Superintendents of Police, CEOs of Jila Panchayat and Forest Division Officials, directing them to ensure sanitization of offices under them.

Chief Secretary said that because of the lockdown in effect to control the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 infection, all the government offices have also been closed. He said that in days to come when lockdown will be called off, works in all the offices will be resumed. This would result in movement of employees and common people in the office premises. As it cannot be predicted when this pandemic situation will be completely resolved, proper cleaning and sanitization of all the district, tehsil, jila panchayat, janpad and gram panchayat offices including the ground-level offices should be ensured for safety of officials, employees and common people.

Chief Secretary has given instructions that besides, sanitization, regular cleaning, handwash station installation etc in all the government offices, the unnecessary goods in the premises should also be written off and complete arrangements should be made in these offices for prevention and control of COVID-19 infection.
