Raipur (thestates.news) | Governor Shri Ramen Deka urged citizens to remain vigilant about their duties and responsibilities towards democracy and to exercise their valuable right to vote in order to strengthen the democratic process and contribute to the nation’s development, on the occasion of National Voters’ Day.
He stated that for a successful democracy, it is essential for every young Indian citizen to register as a voter and actively participate in elections by casting their vote. Mentioning that this day is dedicated to voter awareness, he reminded citizens that India is the world’s largest democracy. To make democracy strong and secure, people must vote impartially, without being influenced by religion, caste, community, language, or any other bias, and do so freely, independently, and fearlessly.
