New Delhi, (thestates.news) Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former party president Rahul Gandhi said there is an atmosphere of war on the China border and the government cannot run away from its responsibility.
Ms Gandhi was speaking on ‘Shaheedo ko Salam Diwas’ organised by the party to pay tribute to the martyrs.
In a video message released here on Friday, Ms Gandhi said, ”Prime Minister Narendra Modi says that China has not entered our border, then the government should tell that how our 20 soldiers have been martyred.”
“Chinese troops are violating the borders by constructing new bunkers in the Galwan Valley and the sattelite is clearly showing that China has strengthened its military position along the border,” she said.
“We know that our country is safe in the hands of our army and the Congress party is standing with the government and the Army,” she said.
“Chinese incursions have been confirmed through various means, but Mr Modi says that no one has taken possession of our land. Instead of confusing the people of India, Mr Modi should tell when and how Chinese soldiers will be send out of our land,” she said.
Mr Gandhi also said in a video message that the whole country is standing with the government and the army for the protection of DM, but the people of Ladakh, military general, satellite pictures are telling that China has occupied the Indian border not from only one but three places, and why is this truth being hidden? uni (#mediasaheb.com)
