Healthcare Services Reach Remote Regions under the ‘Niyad Nella Naar Yojana’

Free Medical Treatment Facility Provided to Villagers of Chintalnar and Burkapal, along with Ayushman Cards

Raipur (thestates.news) | In line with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s vision of delivering healthcare to the most inaccessible corners of the state, the government is effectively implementing the Niyad Nella Naar Yojana. Under the guidance of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, a large three-day medical camp was successfully organised in the remote, forested regions of Chintalnar and Burkapal in Konta block of Sukma district — areas that remain cut off from regular health services. Held under the shade of forest trees, this special camp brought essential healthcare to communities long deprived of such services. For villagers, the camp proved to be a double boon, providing immediate medical care as well as access to important health schemes.

Healthcare Delivered in Remote Depths of Forests

Led by Collector Shri Devesh Kumar Dhruv, Health Department Official along with a dedicated team of doctors and health staff operated the camp for three consecutive days. In the midst of dense forests, villagers were examined, treated, and provided with free medicines as required. The residents participated with great enthusiasm, grateful for the rare opportunity to receive comprehensive healthcare at their doorstep.

Assurance of ‘Ayushman’

A major highlight of the camp was the on-the-spot issuance of new Ayushman cards. A total of 162 villagers received freshly prepared Ayushman cards, while many others were handed their cards during the camp itself. These cards will now enable the residents to access free treatment for serious illnesses in the future.

This initiative has brought significant relief to communities who have long been distanced from basic health facilities. Appreciating the government’s efforts, villagers said that such camps not only allow them to undergo essential health check-ups but also open the door to availing various government welfare schemes.
