Road map prepared to install high security number plate conveniently and within stipulated time
Raipur (thestates.news) | A high level meeting was held yesterday in the seminar room of Indravati Bhawan located in Nava Raipur with all the district level transport officers of the state and contracted companies for high security number plate under the chairmanship of Transport Secretary cum Transport Commissioner Shri S. Prakash and Additional Transport Commissioner Shri D. Ravishankar. In the meeting, the problems faced by the public were discussed in detail and necessary guidelines were given for their resolution.
In the meeting, it was informed that there are more than 50 lakh registered vehicles in the state before 01 April 2019 and orders for about 03 lakh high security number plates have been received. To increase the speed of fitting, instructions were given to increase the number of fitting centers of contracted companies on the basis of number of vehicles at each district level and to form a camp team with the companies to the district level transport officer in every district.
