Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that a dedicated strategy must be prepared to improve the livelihoods of artisans traditionally engaged in weaving, embroidery, handicrafts, and clay art. He underlined that reviving the income sources of communities involved in these crafts for generations remains a key priority of the state government.
Chairing a review meeting of the Gramodyog (Village Industries) Department at Mahanadi Bhawan on Tuesday, the Chief Minister held detailed discussions on measures to promote silk, handicrafts, khadi, handloom, and clay craft, as well as initiatives aimed at uplifting the living standards of artisans and weavers across the state.
