IEEE Kalinga University Student Branch organized IEEE 2nd International World Conference on Communication & Computing -2024

Raipur (thestates.news) IEEE Kalinga University Student Branch, the most vibrant branch under IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section organized 2 nd International World Conference on Communication & Computing 2024 sponsored by DST-SERB and technically Co-Sponsored by IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section at Kalinga University Campus from 12 th to 14 th July 2024.

The conference targeted state-of-the-art as well as emerging topics pertaining to Engineering &
Technology. It also developed effective strategies for the implementation of Engineering and
technology in Intelligent Systems. The objective of this world conference was to provide
opportunities for Researchers, Academicians, Industry persons and students to interact and
exchange ideas, experience and expertise in the current trends and strategies in Engineering & Technology. Prof. G.S.Tomar, Chairperson, IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section was the Chief Guest of the event. Shri Bala Prasad Peddigari, Chief Innovation Officer and Global Head – Technology Advisory Services, Technology, Software and Services Business Group, TCS was the Keynote speaker in the event.

Dr. Vijayalaxmi Biradar, Director – IQAC, Kalinga University and convenor of the conference
gave an overview about the conference during the inaugural. Dr. R Shridhar, Vice Chancellor,
Kalinga University, encouraged the convening of such conferences to understand the new and
advanced technologies. Dr. Harish Patil, Technical Program Chair IEEE WCONF 2024 along with
Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar – Kalinga University, Mr. Pankaj Tiwari, Director Corporate
Relations, Deans, HoD’s, staff and students of Kalinga University along with Participants (Online
& Offline) were present during the event. Dr. Anu G Pillai, Assistant Professor & IQAC Coordinator, Kalinga University was the master of ceremony.
“2,231 papers were received in the conference from various parts of the world out of which
262 high-quality papers were selected for presentation after reviewing by the reviewers”; as
quoted by the Convenor of the Conference. More than 60 session chairs and session
coordinators were involved in conducting the sessions in online as well as offline mode. The
Conference was sponsored by DST-SERB and technically Co-sponsored by IEEE MP Section. Mr.
Sarat Chandra Mohanty, Assistant Professor & IQAC Coordinator managed all the sessions
during the conference.
Dr. Anita Verma, Assistant Professor & IQAC Coordinator, on behalf of the organizing
committee expressed gratitude to all participants, keynote speakers, session chairs, reviewers,
sponsors, and volunteers for their valuable contributions, which made the conference a
resounding success.
