Lucknow, (TheStates.News) Alleging that the law and order situation was in shambles in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said that even minor girls were becoming victims of cruelty in the rule of Bharatiya Janata Party.
In a statement issued here, he said that the women and girls were not safe in the BJP rule adding that wherever they go, a fear of insecurity follows them.
There are cases of rapes and sexual violence everyday. Even minor girls are becoming victims of such cruelty. This situation is extremely lamentable and condemnable for any civilised society, Mr Akhilesh said. (uni)
