Raipur, (thestates.news) | Kalinga University, Raipur has extended its existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Young Indians (Yi), an integral initiative of the Confederation of Indian
Industry (CII), for a further period of three years. The MoU aims to further strengthen student engagement, leadership development, and nation-building activities.
The MoU was formally signed on 06 January 2026 at Kalinga University by Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga University and Ms. Priyanka Gwalani, Chair, Young Indians; in the presence of Dr. Yogesh Vaishnaw, Coordinator, Young Indians; Mr. Shubham Pramod, Deputy Dean Student Welfare; and Ms. Muskan Agrawal, Assistant Dean Student Welfare .
Dr. Sandeep Gandhi stated that the MoU reflects the university’s commitment to holistic education beyond classrooms by nurturing leadership, social responsibility, and professional competence among students. Yi Chair Ms. Priyanka Gwalani emphasized that Yi aims to empower young minds to become change-makers and responsible citizens by offering platforms that bridge academia, industry, and society. This collaboration aims to enroll and actively engage students of Kalinga University with the Yi Yuva platform,
providing them opportunities to conceptualize, plan, and execute projects related to leadership development, skill enhancement, community service, and national development. Through this partnership, students will participate in Yi chapter-level and national-level initiatives,
summits, and cross-functional activities and also focus on creating a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem. These initiatives are designed to inspire youth to lead India into its next decade of growth.
