Islamabad, (thestates.news)Amid a steep spike of
Novel Coronavirus cases, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday told
it’s citizens to learn to live with the virus for some time, as its cure was
not forthcoming soon.
Pakistan reported 1581 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours,
taking the total number of infections in the country to 38799.
Expressing concern over the situation emerging in the wake of the pandemic, Mr
Khan said Pakistan, despite its limited resources, gave a stimulus package of
eight billion dollars to its people, whereas the US allocated 2,200 billion
dollars and Japan 1,000 billion dollars for this purpose.(uni)
