Mention of Chhattisgarh’s Guru Ghasidas Tamorpingla Tiger Reserve in ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Raipur  (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by his cabinet ministers, listened to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhawan) today. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that each edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ offers new lessons. He described the program as a unique combination of the achievements of citizens, humanitarian efforts, and innovations, where Prime Minister Shri Modi’s insightful discussions inspire listeners with the dedication and innovative contributions of the people to the nation.

In ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Shri Modi mentioned Guru Ghasidas Tamorpingla Tiger Reserve in Chhattisgarh, expressing happiness over the addition of two new tiger reserves in the country over the past two months. One of these is the Guru Ghasidas Tamorpingla Tiger Reserve in Chhattisgarh, and the other is the Ratapani Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.

Prime Minister also highlighted India’s achievements in space science, the startups initiated by the youth, and successful efforts in women empowerment. He urged the youth to draw inspiration from great personalities like Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and continue to progress. He called on citizens to strive to make India the best in every aspect through their endeavors.

In the context of the 75th anniversary of the Indian Republic, Prime Minister paid tribute to the great personalities of the Constituent Assembly. He spoke about the cooperative spirit of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the commitment to human values by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and the advocacy for equal opportunity by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, sharing inspiring excerpts from their speeches in their voices.

Praising the participation of the youth in the Maha Kumbh at Prayagraj, Prime Minister Shri Modi said that when the younger generation connects with their heritage with pride, it strengthens their roots, ensuring a golden future. He described the Maha Kumbh as a confluence of equality and harmony and a celebration of unity in diversity.

Prime Minister also mentioned the first anniversary of the ‘Praan Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lala on January 11, noting that millions of devotees visited Ayodhya to receive blessings. He highlighted the importance of preserving heritage while progressing on the path of development and drawing inspiration from it to move forward.
