Poonch,(thestates.news ) Tour of Union Ministers Thaawar Chand Gehlot and Krishan Pal both MOS for Social Justice and employment was canceled due to bad weather. Both the Ministers tried to go there by a chopper but it could not land due to bad weather conditions and they had to return back.
In the absence of the Ministers, District Administrator carried out the program in Mandi and Surankote under ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ in which five Anganwari workers were felicitated, 50 school bags were distributed among students. DC Poonch distributed kits among students at Surankote. While addressing the gathering Dc Poonch Rahul Yadav said that the Ministers tried to come here but due to bad weather conditions they failed to reach here but had forwarded their message to people of Poonch that soon they would come and address the people to redress their grievances.
