Raipur (thestates.news)| The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur, through its Go Green Club, organized a Swachhata Rath Rally on Friday as part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 and Swachhotsav 2025. The rally, aimed at spreading awareness on the importance of cleanliness, witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and staff.
Director (I/c) Dr. (Mrs.) A. B. Soni, along with Dr. T. P. Sahu, Dr. D. C. Jharia, and Dr. Govind P. Gupta, joined the march, underscoring the institute’s commitment to promoting hygiene and environmental responsibility.
Participants raised spirited slogans including “Chalo milkar haath badhaye, Swachh Bharat banaye”, “Har nagrik ka ek hi naara, Swachh rahe desh hamara”, and “Gandagi se azaadi, swachhta se khushhaali”, drawing attention to the collective responsibility of citizens in building a cleaner nation. At the culmination of the rally, all present took a pledge to uphold cleanliness, resolving not only to maintain hygiene within the campus but also to extend these practices to their surrounding communities.(S-PIB)
