Raipur (thestates.news) | The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur has reaffirmed its growing global stature by securing a place in the 1001–1200 band of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, officially announced on Thursday. The achievement marks yet another milestone in the institute’s consistent journey toward academic and research excellence on the world stage.
In the 2026 edition, NIT Raipur recorded an overall score between 32.1 and 35.4, maintaining its strong position among the world’s top 2,191 ranked universities. The institute demonstrated significant improvement across several performance indicators. Compared to the previous year’s rankings, its Teaching score increased from 27.2 to 28.9, while the Industry score rose from 23.4 to 28.7, reflecting NIT Raipur’s sustained efforts in academic innovation, industrial collaboration, and institutional development.
