New Delhi, (theatates.news) The Supreme Court has commented on the Narendra Modi government at the Center regarding the ban on the Internet and the implementation of Section 144 for a long time. The Supreme Court said during the hearing in the case of internet ban and other restrictions in Jammu and Kashmir that the internet cannot be completely banned without any reason.
The court said, ‘Internet cannot be banned for a long time. There must be some strong reason for restrictions. The Internet is the right of expression of the people. This article is under 19. Apart from this, while commenting on Section 144, the Court said that it is an abuse of power by the government to keep Section 144 in force anywhere in the country. Also, the court has asked to make public all the decisions related to the ban. (HS):
