Raigarh, (thestates.news) | The second convocation of OP Jindal University, Raigarh will be held on 10 th October 2022 in the auditorium of OP Jindal School, Raigarh. The Vice Chancellor OP Jindal University Dr. D. Patidar said that the convocation is a very important day not only for the students but also for the university; and since it is being conducted in offline mode for the first time, it is not only important but also a historic day for the university. .
Dr. Patidar informed that for the chief guest of this second convocation of the University, Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh, Ms. Anusuiya Uikey ji has been given her consent. The special guests Shri Umesh Patel (Honourable Minister Higher Education, Chhattisgarh) Governance), Shri Naveen Jindal (Chairman-Jindal Steel and Power), Dr. Umesh Kumar Mishra (Chairman- Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission, Raipur), and Ms. Shallu Jindal (Chancellor- OP Jindal
University, Raigarh) will address the function. During this second convocation, 31 gold, 28 silver and 27 bronze medals will be awarded to the students of School of Engineering, School of Management and School of Science; along with this, degrees
will also be awarded to a total of 738 students. Dr. Patidar said that this convocation, being organized in the auditorium of OP Jindal School, Raigarh, will start on October 10 th from 3 PM to 6 PM and during this time all the students, guests and parents will be present and boost the morale of all the degree recipients. Dr. Patidar appealed to all the parents to be present on this important day of their children and motivate them and expressed the hope that surely this second convocation will be a historically successful one with the cooperation of all. During this convocation, the annual report of the university will also be presented by Dr R. D. Patidar, Vice Chancellor, OP Jindal University.
