Mumbai, (thestates.news) | Esteemed Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi is currently basking in the spotlight, for his craft. He has aced disparate roles, notably the character of nefarious Akhandanand Tripathi in the hit web series “Mirzapur” to the doting father in “Gunjan Saxena”.
Previously in an interview with India TV, Pankaj Tripathi revealed, “I used to perform stunts on the bicycle because there was a boy who would perform such stunts, and he was very popular among girls.” He shared that it was the time when he was in class 7th or 8th.
He reminisced about the slow cycle race from his youth, where the victor gained immense popularity, particularly among the girls. Inspired by this, he meticulously honed his skills, aspiring to clinch the title the following year. However, despite his earnest efforts, victory remained out of reach, according to a report by Pinkvilla. During the same conversation, the actor shared how he wanted to learn to swim. They had a river behind their house with small black insects on the surface.
He recalled, “The village kids, being quite mischievous, told me that if I drank these insects, I would learn to swim. So, I picked up 10-12 of those insects and drank them with the river water. I’m thankful my stomach didn’t get upset.” Professionally, Pankaj has been enjoying the success of the crowd-favourite “Stree 2” helmed by Amar Kaushik, where he was last spotted. (UNI)
