Implementation of government schemes reviewed in the meeting of District Planning Committee

Raipur (thestates.news)| People from Jora and Labhandi villages of the Raipur Nagar Nigam will now be able to sell cow dung in the Fundhar Gauthan. The Minister in Charge of the District and Agriculture Minister, Ravindra Chaubey, gave instructions to the officers yesterday during the review meeting of the District Planning Committee. The Minister In charge also reviewed the implementation and achievements of the government schemes operational in the state. He gave instructions to speed up the implementation of schemes so that more people in the state could reap the scheme’s benefits. Satyanarayan Sharma, the MLA of Raipur (rural), raised the matter of the problems faced by the livestock farmers of Jora and Labhandi villages. He said that the farmers of both of these villages are unable to sell cow dung in the Fundhar Gauthan, because of which they are facing huge losses. Minister In Charge Mr. Chaubey immediately gave instructions to the Nagar Nigam Commissioner to make the arrangements for cow dung purchase in Gauthans.
In the meeting, the President of the Chhattisgarh Housing Board Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor of Raipur Nagar Nigam Aijaz Dhebar, Mayor of Birgaon Nagar Nigam Nandlal Dewangan, District Panchayat President Mrs. Domeshwari Verma, MLA of Abhanpur Dhanendra Sahu, Dharseeva MLA Anita Sharma, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Bhoore, CEO of District Panchayat Akash, Commissioner of Nagar Nigam Mayank Chaturvedi, and other public representatives and District level officers were also present.
