Somdi Sodhi Turns Emotional in Front of CM
When Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the home of Somdi Sodhi, a resident of Churitikara Para, she became emotional. She recounted that her entire house had been submerged in the floods. A day before the floods, she had been admitted to hospital for treatment, with both her daughters accompanying her—an incident which eventually saved their lives. Somdi said that all household items were damaged in the floodwaters. However, the administration provided rations, utensils, clothes, gas cylinders and a stove. In addition, breakfast, meals, and healthcare are being arranged at the relief camp. In this hour of crisis, she expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for the government’s assistance.
Likewise, Suresh Baghel, another flood victim from Churitikara Para, said that on the day of the floods, his entire family was at home. On receiving the administration’s alert, they moved to a safe location and reached the relief camp the following day. He returned home from the camp last Friday.
