Raipur / Balrampur, (thestates.news) | The district is gearing up to celebrate Republic Day on January 26 with great patriotic fervor. As part of the preparations, a final rehearsal for the Republic Day celebrations took place at the Police Line Parade Ground. Collector Shri Rajendra Katara and In-charge Superintendent of Police (Deputy Superintendent of Police) Shri Vishva Deepak Tripathi jointly oversaw the final rehearsal for the main Republic Day event to be held at the district headquarters.
During the rehearsal, District Panchayat CEO, Smt. Nayan Tara Singh Tomar, assumed the role of the Chief Guest. She hoisted the National Flag and saluted it. Following this, the Chief Guest inspected the parade and read out the Chief Minister’s message. As part of the rehearsal, police personnel fired three celebratory rounds in sync with the national anthem. Police officials and schoolchildren participated in the march-past, all attired in full ceremonial uniforms. After the march-past, the Parade Commander introduced the Chief Guest to the dignitaries present, followed by a group photo.
Schoolchildren performed cultural programmes centered around patriotic songs, demonstrating their enthusiasm and love for the nation. The Collector encouraged the children and wished them success in their performances. Besides, Collector provided instructions to various departmental officials to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the Republic Day celebrations.
Additional Collector Shri R.S. Lal, Sub-Divisional Officer Balrampur Shri Amit Srivastava, along with district-level officers, employees, teachers, and students from various schools, were also present at the event.
