Mumbai (Thestates.news) | The rupee on Tuesday dropped 10 paise at 83.54 against USD in the opening session on rising demand for US dollar by bankers and importers dealers at the Foreign exchange said. The local unit was seen as weak due to a strong dollar against other world currencies amid a weak opening in the equity market. The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 83.45 and 83.56, respectively, the dealer added.(UNI)
