Bilaspur (thestates.news) | South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) continues its sustained efforts to provide prompt employment to the dependents of its deceased employees. In line with this, the company issued appointment letters to 102 dependents during August 2025.
The highest number of appointments during the month—21 each—were made in the Baikunthpur and Chirimiri areas. With this, a total of 182 dependents have been provided employment since April 2025.
SECL is ensuring timely appointments by expediting dependent employment cases. Special focus is being given to strengthening coordination among various departments through the joint efforts of the Human Resources and Vigilance departments so that dependents do not face any difficulties and their cases are resolved quickly.
The SECL management stated that providing prompt employment to dependents with sensitivity remains one of the company’s key priorities, and consistent efforts will continue in this direction in the future as well.
