Sensex down by over 500 pts

Mumbai, (media saheb.com) The BSE Sensex on Monday tumbled down by 534 pts to open at 52,606.99 as selling was seen in Finance, Bankex, IT and Industrials stocks.The Nifty too slipped by 169 pts at 15,754.50.
The Sensex registered an intra day high and low of 52,821.17 and 53,506.40 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low of 15,836.90 and 15,735.95 pts respectively.
The Mid Cap fell by 0.03 pc while Small Cap rose by 0.23 pc.
In 30 scrips, 10 advanced while 20 declined.
The losers were HDFC Bank by 2.46 pc to Rs 1584.25, HDFC by 1.97 pc to Rs 2486.90,
Indusind Bank by 1.35 pc to Rs 1030.50, Maruti Suzuki by 1.20 pc to Rs 7316.15 and Kotak Bank by 1.03 pc to Rs 1732.30.
The gainers were NTPC by 0.84 pc to Rs 120.10, ITC by 0.41 pc to Rs 208.75, Tata Steel by 0.40 pc to Rs 1283.40 and Dr Reddy Lab by 0.32 pc to Rs 5426.55. (uni) For Hindi News :   media saheb.com
