Mumbai, ( thestates.news) The benchmark index of
Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday crashed by 885.72 points to settle at
31,122.89 over 2 per cent losses tracking weakness in global markets after US
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell warned of extended economic weakness
following coronavirus pandemic in the world’s biggest economy.
The nifty of national stock exchange too fell by 240.80 pts to 9,142.75.
The sensex registered days high and low at 31,630.94 and 31,052.65
respectively.
The nifty registered days high and low at 9,281.10 and 9,119.75
