Raipur (thestates.news) : So far, 5 lakh 48 thousand 180 metric tonnes of paddy have been purchased on the support price from registered farmers in the district during the Kharif marketing year 2022-23. During the current season, paddy is procured at support price in 125 paddy procurement centres run by 102 cooperative societies in Bemetara district.Paddy is purchased from farmers from Monday to Friday, excluding government holidays. The state government will purchase paddy at the support price until January 31, 2023.
