State Level Youth Festival: Artists enthralled the audiences with their powerful performance of Panthi dance

  • Kondagaon Team won the competition of category15 to 40 age group and Bemetara secured first position in the category of 40+ age group

Raipur (thestates.news)| On the second day of the State Level Youth Festival, mesmerizing performances based on Panthi dance were staged at the main stage of the Science College ground. Artists of various age groups from different parts of the state gave scintillating performances in traditional costumes. In the category of age group 15 to 40, Kondagaon of Bastar division have won the first prize, and Bemetara of Durg division has secured the first position in the age group of 40 years and above.

In the age group of 15 to 40, Durg district got the second position and Bilaspur district got the third position. Similarly, Raipur district of Raipur division got the second position and Koriya district of Surguja division got the third position in panthi dance competition for the age group of more than 40 years.

An amount of Rs 10,000 and a momento was awarded to the winners of panthi dance competition, Rs seven thousand five hundred and a momento was awarded to the first runner up and Rs 5,000 and a mememto was given to the second runner up.
In the 15 to 40 age group category of Panthi dance competition, the participants of Raipur division portrayed the messages of Guru Ghasidas ji, the founder of Satnam Panth, through their dance performance on the song “Bera Bakhat Ke Mol Na Samjho Samay Bada Balvaan Hai…” In the second sequence, the participants of Surajpur district, Surguja division formed a human pyramid while singing Sumar Lagau Tor, Vandana La Sun Le Mor, Gyan Ganga Gyan Data Guru Baba Mor….. in their tremendous dance performance dedicated to Guru Baba Gurughasidas. Fourth performance was given by the artists of Kondagaon district of Bastar division, and the fifth and last performance was given by panthi dancers of village Raliya of Masturi development block of Bilaspur district of Bilaspur division.
The team from Kondagaon performed Panthi dance from on the song ‘Satya Ke Jot Jala Ke Satnam Bagraye, Bhakt Man le Radda Dikha Ke Gyan ke Deep Jalaye…. and enthralled the audiences.
