Senior Grade Sanctioned, 30 Posts Created, Police Officers from 2005–09 Batches to Benefit
Raipur (thestates.news) Officers of the Chhattisgarh State Police Service met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his office in the Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday to express their heartfelt gratitude for the government’s recent decision to grant senior pay scale to eligible officers from the 2005 to 2009 batches. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma was also present during the courtesy meeting.
In a significant administrative move, the state cabinet in its July 11 meeting approved the creation of 30 posts, thereby sanctioning senior grade pay for officers who have completed the required qualifying service period. The decision is aimed at improving cadre management within the State Police Service.
Among those present during the meeting were Additional Superintendents of Police—Shri Lakhan Patle, Shri Kirtan Rathore, Shri Anant Sahu, Dr. Sangeeta Mahelkar, and Smt. Pragya Meshram.
