Only 166 schools will be adjusted

Raipur (thestates.news)| The education department has said that the news of thousands of schools being closed due to rationalization by some organizations and individuals is completely misleading and baseless. The school education department has said that the reality is completely different from this. The rationalization process issued by the state government is not aimed at stopping anyone’s studies, but to ensure the quality of education and better use of resources.
Out of the total 10,463 schools in the state, only 166 schools will be adjusted. Out of these 166 schools, 133 are such schools in rural areas, in which the number of students is less than 10 and another school is operating within a kilometer. Similarly, there are 33 schools in urban areas, in which the registered number is less than 30 and another school is operating within a radius of 500 meters. For this reason, 166 schools are being adjusted for the purpose of better education, this will not affect the education of children in any case. The remaining 10,297 schools will remain fully operational. Necessary adjustments are being made in them only at the administrative and educational level. The use of school buildings will continue as before and teachers will also be available wherever required.
