Raipur,(thestates.news) |Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident that occurred during a Ganesh Visarjan procession at Jurudand in Bagicha block of Jashpur district, in which three people lost their lives and several others were injured.
The Chief Minister said, “I am deeply pained by this heart-wrenching incident. I pray to the Almighty for peace to the departed souls and for the speedy recovery of the injured.” Extending condolences to the bereaved families, he added that the Government of Chhattisgarh stands firmly with the families of the deceased and the injured in this hour of grief.
As soon as the Chief Minister was informed of the incident, he directed the district administration to ensure proper medical treatment and necessary assistance for the injured. He instructed that no lapse should occur in providing treatment and that every injured person must receive immediate and appropriate care.
The state government has sanctioned financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each for the families of the three deceased and ₹50,000 each for the injured. The Chief Minister further said that the administration must remain in constant touch with the affected families and provide them with all possible support.
