Raipur, (Thestates.news)| With the aim of promoting entrepreneurship in Chhattisgarh,
Chhattisgarh Entrepreneurship Development Center launched a 05-day Trainer Training
Program in collaboration with Kalinga University.
Two batches were conducted under this program – the first batch started on 28 March 2025
and the second batch started on 29 March 2025 at Kalinga University, Raipur. 30 trainees
participated in each batch, who are being prepared to take entrepreneurship training to a new
level in future.
The Chief Guest of the program Dr. R. Shridhar, Vice Chancellor, Kalinga University highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the inaugural session. He mentioned that at present there is a great need for trained trainers to empower self-employment and startup culture. He described such training programs as extremely useful for the young and budding entrepreneurs of Chhattisgarh.
Mr. Mukul Vedi from Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad
presented the detailed outline of the training program and told the trainees how they can
refine their knowledge through training and effectively apply it in the society. He stated that
the right guidance of the trainers not only helps the entrepreneurs to move in the right
direction but also makes them self-reliant and confident.
The program coordinator was Mr. Sachin Patel, EDII Ahmedabad. He highlighted the
structure and objectives of the program said that this training will provide the participants an
opportunity to understand the nuances of entrepreneurship, business planning and assimilate
various dimensions from financial management to digital marketing. The speakers
emphasized on the importance of modern business environment, startup ecosystem, financial
management, marketing strategies and digital platforms.
This program is an important initiative towards empowering entrepreneurship in
Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh Entrepreneurship Development Center is a joint initiative of the
Department of Commerce and Industry, Government of Chhattisgarh and the
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, aimed at promoting
entrepreneurship in the state and conducting strong training programs for new entrepreneurs.
The goal of this center is to motivate more and more people for self-employment and provide
them with the necessary skills and resources, so that they can not only set up their own
business, but also create employment opportunities for others.
The trainers trained through this program will further play the role of ambassadors of
entrepreneurship development in the state and provide guidance to budding entrepreneurs at
the local level. This initiative will not only contribute to the economic progress of
Chhattisgarh, but will also help the youth to become self-reliant through self-employment.
