Raipur (thestates.news) | Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Kalinga University, in collaboration with Green Army and Lions Club Raipur Friends, planted trees at the sports complex ground of Kalinga University in Naya Raipur on Saturday morning.
The main dignitaries present on this occasion were President of Lions Club Raipur Friends Mr. Avneet Singh, Secretary Mr. Hardeep Singh, Green Army Former President and Founder Mr. Mohan Valyani, Former President Green Wing Ms. Hardeep Kaur, Green Army Founding Member Dr. Purushottam Chandrakar, Gurukul College NSS Program Officer Dr. Ratri Lahiri, Lions Club
Raipur Friends members Mr. Balram Nagpure, Mr. Vinod Shesh and Kalinga University Registrar Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Kalinga University NSS Program Officer Dr. Smita Premanand, Kalinga University Sports Director Dr. D Kalidoss and Kalinga University Sports Officer Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
More than 200 trees were planted during the tree plantation campaign. Dr. Smita Premanand expressed her gratitude to all the participants present in the tree plantation campaign.
