Raipur (thestates.news)| Two students of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School, run by the Chhattisgarh government, have secured a semifinal spot along with 15 other teams at the Indian Navy Quiz Think Competition. Around 7500 schools across the country participated in the competition. Khushi Chauhan and Aditya Sahu of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School Korba, have performed incredibly in the two elimination rounds and the quarter-final round. Khushi Chauhan is a student in the Biology stream of class 12th and Aditya Sahu is a student in the Mathematics stream of class 11th. They have been selected among the top 16 teams for the semi-final which is to be scheduled at Karwar on November 23 in the INS Vikramaditya aircraft carrier.
This will be a memorable and unique event in the life of the students. These cadets have a unique opportunity to experience the naval way of life and interact with the naval officers on board. The Indian Navy will bear the cost of travel, accommodation and boarding for both the students along with a teacher as a guide. Both these students will travel to Goa by flight from Raipur on November 20. Semi-final and final rounds will be conducted on INS Vikramaditya aircraft carrier which will depart from Goa. Both students will depart from Kannur airport for Raipur on November 27. Mrs. Juhi Qureshi and Ms. Deepti Pandey, teachers of these two students have an important contribution to their success.

He has said that according to the priority of the government, quality education is being provided to children in Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School. It is a matter of pride for the students of Chhattisgarh to be selected in the national level competition. Both the selected students told that they had a preparation to participate in this competition. In the first three phases of the competition, an online test was conducted, in which 30 questions were to be answered in 10 minutes.
