All eyes are on June 30- the end of first half of 2020 as
well as the Unlock 1.0- with the question whether Unlock 2.0 will commence from
July 1.
The ‘query’ is significant taking into account announcements of continuance of
Lockdown from four states amid the ongoing Unlock 1.0-Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam
and Jharkhand.
While Bengal has declared another state-wide Lockdown till the end of July and
Tamil Nadu for Chennai and surrounding regions, the Assam government on Friday
announced a two-week Lockdown in Guwahati from Sunday.
On Saturday, the Jharkhand government announced extension of Lockdown upto
July 31.
Meanwhile, Delhi on Wednesday surpassed Mumbai in overall Covid-19 cases,
becoming country’s worst-hit city during the pandemic, and Corona count raced
