Vodafone Idea joins hands with IBM for AI-enabled transformation

New Delhi (thestates.news)| Vodafone Idea (Vi) announced a strategic collaboration with IBM consulting to streamline telecom operations. The partnership is intended to improve service reliability, customer experience, and seamless delivery of digital services by using AI. Under this collaboration, an ‘AI innovation hub’ is established to foster Vodafone’s IT business processes.

This AI hub will bring experts from IBM Consulting and Vodafone Idea to co-create edge AI solutions, automated tools, and digital accelerators. Jagbir Singh, CTO, Vodafone Idea Limited, said, “Our collaboration with IBM marks a pivotal milestone in Vi’s digital journey. It reflects our commitment to AI-led innovation and our ambition to drive accelerated growth through intelligent decision-making and solutions.”

VI’s collaboration with IBM also showed that the telecom giant is prioritizing the AI-enabled technologies at the forefront. Moreover, the company is intended to transform with AI for giving a great customer experience.
