Thane, (TheStates.News ) The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Monday urged Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to withdraw cases against those farmers, who had carried out an agitation and faced action by police in the infamous Nevali episode.
Talking to this correspondent here, MNS leader Raju Patil said he had requested the Chief Minister in a tweet, to close the cases in Nevali, on the lines of Aarey agitation.
The MLA from Kalyan rural further said that he would soon meet the Chief Minister and apprise him about the entire issue with documentary evidence, based on the files which he has. (uni)
