Raipur (The States. news) CGPURC is a regulatory body dedicated to supervising the functioning of all private universitiesin Chhattisgarh. CGPURC is the authoritative body that is responsible for providing guidance,training and administration to all universities established under the above mentioned act.
CGPURC also takes rigorous initiatives to encourage the establishment of more and more such educational institutions and ensures that quality education reaches to each and every corner of Chhattisgarh state.
This year CGPURC celebrated its foundation day by organizing a virtual gathering where every private university was provided a platform for representing themselves and discussing important matters pertaining to Higher Education.
The Chief Guest of the virtual event was the Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh State, Ms. Anusuiya Uikey. Program started after lighting the lamp and worshiping Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and learning. Honorable Governor and Chancellors, Vice Chancellors and Registrars of 15 private universities were welcomed by the members of the CGPURC.
Member of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission Mrs. Sarita Sinha gave a welcome address to the chief guest and all the guests present in the function. After that, Chancellors, Vice Chancellors and Registrars of all private universities of Chhattisgarh presented their address and apprised the Hon’ble Governor with new achievements and initiatives taken by their university. After the welcome and address program, academic member of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Umesh Kumar Mishra presented the progress report in which the objectives, working and achievements of the Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission were included in sequence.
Chairman of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Shiv Varan Shukla said in his remarks that keeping in mind the importance of higher education policy and under the guidance of Hon’ble Governor of Chhattisgarh, private universities should be run as per rules and work is being done to provide research based education. In which we have been successful to a great extent. In future also we are committed to follow better programs keeping in mind the objective of providing research oriented and job oriented education by private universities according to Indian culture.
Concluding the event, the Honorable Governor and Visitor of Chhattisgarh Ms. Anusuiya Uikey released a souvenir entitled “Vidya Nilayam”, about the inauguration of new office of CGPURC and said that appreciable work is being done by the private universities in the field of higher education under the guidance of the Chairman of the Commission. It is known from the speeches of the Vice Chancellors and Chancellors of private universities present here today that the achievements of all of them in the field of higher education are commendable even in the present circumstances, when the whole world is facing challenges due to COVID pandemic.
At the end of the function, the Chairman of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Shiv Varan Shukla expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor and the guests present. All the officers and employees of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission were present in the said event.
