636 Patients Receive Specialist Care at Rajhara Mines Hospital Mega Medical Camp

Specialist consultations offered in Pain Management, Paediatrics, Ear, Nose and Throat, Medicine, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Raipur (thestates.news) | A Mega Medical Camp was organised at Rajhara Mines Hospital, providing comprehensive and quality healthcare services to employees, beneficiaries and people from the surrounding community. The camp witnessed a good response, with 636 patients receiving consultations across various medical specialities.

The camp brought together specialists from multiple disciplines, enabling beneficiaries to access specialist consultations, comprehensive medical evaluation, treatment and expert health guidance under one roof. Services were provided in Pain Management, Paediatrics, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Medicine, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

A team of specialist doctors provided consultations during the camp. The team comprised Dr. Kumudni Tigga, Pain Management Specialist; Dr. Kaushik Kishore, Paediatrician; Dr. Ashwin Ashok Jaiswal, Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist; Dr. Poonam Prasad, Medicine Consultant; Dr. Ankur Kundu, Orthopaedic Specialist; Dr. Sulabh Sahu, Ophthalmologist; and Dr. Divya Tejaswini, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

The specialist team was further supported by P.R. Jaibaskar from Physiotherapy, Lata Mishra from Nursing and Kallol Maiti from Radiology. Their coordinated efforts contributed to the smooth and effective conduct of the medical camp.

The doctors, nursing staff and support personnel of Rajhara Mines Hospital played an important role in organising the camp. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Uday Kumar, Chief Medical Officer and Head of Hospital (CMO and HoM); Dr. Sambita Panda, Chief Medical Officer (CMO); Anand Kumar Singh, Chief General Manager (CGM), Rajhara Mines; and the Human Resources Department.

The continued support and coordination of the Human Resources and Personnel Department also contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the camp. The Mega Medical Camp reflects Steel Authority of India Limited-Bhilai Steel Plant’s (SAIL-BSP) continued commitment to providing accessible, compassionate and quality healthcare services to its employees, beneficiaries and the surrounding community.(s-pib)
