New Delhi, (thestates.news) : India registered 9,520 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours till 8 am on Saturday. The number of recovered patients in the same time period is 12,875, whereas 37 people lost their lives. According to the union Health Ministry, the total number of people who have recovered from the virus has gone up to 4,37,83,788; with that the recovery rate rose to 98.62 per cent. At present, the number of active patients in the country is 87,311. While the daily infection rate is 2.50 per cent. According to ICMR, more than 3.81 lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. A total of 88.47 crore tests have been conducted so far.(HS)
