Chief Minister Visits Cultural and Heritage Museum at BSS Pranavananda School
Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited BSS Pranavananda School on VIP Road in Raipur on Monday and paid floral tribute to the statues of Bharat Mata and Swami Pranavananda, founder of the Bharat Sevashram Sangh.
Chief Minister also visited the Cultural and Heritage Museum established on the school campus. Secretary of the school, Swami Shivarupananda Ji Maharaj, guided him through the museum and explained the exhibits in detail. Shri Sai keenly observed the displays highlighting India’s freedom fighters, ancient sages and the humanitarian activities of the Bharat Sevashram Sangh.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said the initiative to familiarise school students with India’s rich history and the contributions of sages, thinkers, religious leaders and freedom fighters is highly commendable. He noted that India’s civilization and culture are ancient, rich and glorious, and have been enriched over time by the knowledge and sacrifices of sages, scholars and great personalities.
He said it is important to connect the younger generation with the country’s history, culture and spiritual traditions. Such efforts, he added, instill pride in the nation, its cultural heritage and its enduring values among students. He added that the museum established by BSS Pranavananda School will serve as an inspiring platform for connecting future generations with India’s religion, scriptures, culture and traditions. Swami Shivarupananda Ji Maharaj honoured Chief Minister by presenting him with a shawl and a memento.
