Raipur (thestates.news) | Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today virtually participated in the foundation-laying ceremony for a series of development projects in the Municipal Corporation area of Rajnandgaon from the his Residence Office in Nava Raipur. On the occasion, he performed bhoomipujan for various development works worth over Rs 226 crore.
Congratulating the residents of Rajnandgaon, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the foundation-laying ceremony signifies not merely the commencement of development works, but the laying of a strong foundation for the city’s bright and prosperous future.
Shri Sai stated that the State Government is consistently working towards balanced and inclusive development across Chhattisgarh, guided by the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas.” Advancing the national vision of _Viksit Bharat_, he said that Rajnandgaon has an important role in building _Viksit Chhattisgarh._ He emphasised that expanding civic amenities in accordance with the city’s growing population remains a key priority of the government, and through these projects the aim is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every ward of the city.
Chief Minister further informed that under the AMRIT Mission 2.0, two new sewage treatment plants will be established in the city to ensure scientific treatment of domestic wastewater. This initiative will prevent untreated water from flowing directly into rivers and drains, thereby contributing to environmental protection while safeguarding public health.
