Bastar Heritage Marathon 2026 to be Held in Jagdalpur on March 22

Event to be Organised with the Theme “Run for Nature – Run for Culture”

Raipur (thestates.news) | The “Bastar Heritage Marathon 2026” will be held on March 22 in Jagdalpur to promote sports and showcase Bastar’s cultural heritage at the national level. The marathon, considered a major initiative under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, will start from Lalbagh Ground and conclude at Chitrakote Waterfall, offering participants a route through the region’s natural and historical landscape.

The event will be organised under the theme “Run for Nature, Run for Culture,” aiming to inspire youth and elevate the state’s identity. It will feature multiple categories including 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km races, with participation expected from across the country.

A total prize pool of up to Rs 25 lakh has been announced, along with finisher medals, e-certificates, and running photographs for participants.
