- Cap covers installed, drainage system ensured to protect paddy from rain
- An amount of nearly Rs 65.86 crore has already been released to cooperative societies for proper storage and preservation of paddy
- Control room set up at Markfed Headquarters to coordinate with all districts and Apex Bank
- Continuous monitoring of procurement centers is also being ensured by Managing Director, Apex Bank and their field staff
Raipur (The States. news) Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s instructions to save paddy in the procurement centers from rain are being implemented expeditiously. In view of the sudden change in weather and rainfall, all the procurement centers are being continuously inspected by the district level officers through the district collectors and all the necessary arrangements are being made to ensure safe storage and preservation of paddy. In the same sequence, cap covers have been installed and water drainage system has been made in the paddy collection centers, as per the instructions of CM Mr. Baghel. Through the control room set up at Markfed Headquarters, all necessary efforts are being made for the proper storage of paddy.
