- Bank accounts opened for Yuva Mitan Clubs

Raipur (thestates.news) |As many as 829 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs have been constituted in all the gram panchayats and urban bodies of Rajnandgaon district. Through Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs, the government is preparing the youngsters to play an important role in the all-round development of the state. This initiative would encourage youngsters to develop leadership skills, become self-dependent and have an active participation in educational and cultural activities. Special efforts have been made to constitute Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs in the district, under the guidance of Collector Taran Prakash Sinha. A total of 889 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs were proposed in Rajnandgaon district, out of which 829 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club have already been constituted and bank accounts have also been opened for all the clubs. Government has provided an amount of Rs. 2 crore 22 lakh 25 thousand for these clubs at the rate of Rs. 25 thousand per club. This amount has been transferred to the accounts of SDM and the process of transferring the amount into the accounts of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs is in progress. A total of 53 mini stadiums in the district have been painted as the office of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs.
It is noteworthy that as a tribute to the former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary on 21st May 2022, various social and cultural activities will be organized in 112 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs in Rajnandgaon block, 114 clubs in Khairagarh block, 107 clubs in Chhuikhadan block, 101 clubs in Dongargarh block, 76 in Dongargaon block, 118 in Churia block, 69 in Ambagarh outpost block, 57 in Mohalla block, 59 Rajiva Yuva Mitan Clubs constituted in Manpur block. Through these clubs, youngsters are getting the opportunity to actively work towards the causes such as cleanliness, malnutrition eradication, social equality, public awareness towards health and education. Youth are playing an important role in the development of the state, through these clubs.
